Nebulink
What's new
Current version: 2.2.104
Nebulink is updated often. These are the latest releases, newest first. Nebulink also tells you when a newer version is ready.
2.2.104 · November 4, 2026
If a Seestar runs out of battery during a plan, the plan now stops after two minutes, says so, and keeps the frames already stacked. Before, Nebulink kept retrying a dead scope for about two hours and moved through the rest of the targets. A scope that stays silent for 30 minutes during imaging also ends the plan. Whiz and Start tonight now estimate how many hours of imaging the battery has left, from that Seestar's own use, and ask before starting a plan the battery can't last, as the Planner already did.
2.2.103 · November 3, 2026
Auto-crop in Enhance now finds a noisy, speckled fringe even when it runs along only part of an edge, such as a purple band along the top of one side, and trims until the edge is clean. Pictures that are already clean are left alone.
2.2.102 · November 2, 2026
a new Auto-crop button in Enhance, German, French, Spanish and Chinese for the newest screens, and a faster, simpler way to tell you about updates.
2.2.101
a red banner marks demo mode on every page, the first-run setup waits for the Seestar app file before Next, and Settings can reopen the setup steps.
2.2.100
picking a spot in Best targets resets the scope filter and sort, and the calendar export no longer fails when the location is incomplete.
2.2.99
a new install now opens the Overview in Beginner, and Nebulink checks for a newer version a few seconds after it starts.
2.2.98
Beginner view is clearer. New installs open in Beginner, with a Start here card of three steps (each with a ? button), plain page names (Pick for me, What to look at, Plan my night), plain status words, one telescope at a time, a simpler menu, and a first-launch Show me how it works walkthrough. Messages say what to do, for example Can't find your Seestar. Check it's turned on and on your Wi-Fi.
2.2.96
Map your horizon has a larger marker, a note that the automatic scan is quicker for the whole horizon, and a clear message when Wide-angle is off while you map (the marks go on the telescope picture). The Live view explains the switch when Map your horizon is open. The app's how-to list includes videos 35 to 37.
2.2.95
a graphics card gauge on the Connection page, with the card's name, how busy it is and its video memory; the PC gauges now line up across the page.
2.2.94
a horizon scan no longer saves a spot at 0,0 when the Seestar hasn't reported its location; it uses your saved place, or asks you to connect first. Start this spot in Live view also asks for a connected Seestar instead of guessing a place. Also in 2.2.93: Beginner home on Quick start (one status line, four big buttons and tonight's top three); a US National Weather Service forecast for US places, with MET Norway everywhere else; a Sky picture sources panel on the Connection page; Refresh pictures, Retry picture and Clear sky-picture cache on Best targets; and no more SkyView no-data pictures. Also new since 2.2.90: Connection page checks, a setup checklist and first-run guide, Save each frame, Map your horizon in EQ mode, and a Star Party card for NGC 7822.
